No, Americans Don’t Want Higher Taxes

Or Maybe it’s just a case of Pinocchio Syndrome

When speaking of a solution to the debt crisis, President Obama  said yesterday that 80% of Americans want higher taxes.  “The American people are sold,” Obama said. “The problem is members of Congress are dug in ideologically.”  Well here’s a comment to an article appearing on theHill.com: “And pretty much 100% of those who want more taxes want more taxes for someone ELSE.

And INVESTORS.com had this to say:  No, Americans Don’t Want Higher Taxes.
