Obamacare Won’t Hurt Small Businesses – And the Brooklyn Bridge is For Sale Too (Video)

Health and Human Services Secretary (HHS) Kathleen Sebelius was speaking in the lawn and garden department at Frager’s Hardware in Washington recently about how Obamacare will help small businesses.

Sebelius said that the penalty ($$ FINE $$) on Small Businesses who don’t (translation: can’t afford to) provide health insurance for their employees is a “great incentive” for growth.”  She certainly sounds like someone who has been in the private sector making payrolls all of her life.  Doesn’t she.  Oh and by the way, when I listened to her convoluted logic as she explained this in the following video, I couldn’t help wondering if she was swatting flies.

So isn’t it amazing how the government folks tell us that down is up and black is white or that a reduction in the amount of an increase is a savings, ad nauseam?  And they expect us to swallow it.  How dumb do they think we are?  Don’t answer that.

Oh and in a related story, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) released a 10-year forecast today that confirms that national health spending will grow at a faster rate with Obamacare than it would have without it as reported in the Washington Times. But of course, the White House spun it otherwise on their blog.  This will be the topic of a future post.  Watch video.
