Three words that describe Obamacare

Deal With It“The Constitution of  this Republic should make special provision for medical freedom…  Unless we put medical freedom into the Constitution, the time will come when medicine will organize into an undercover dictatorship and force people who wish doctors and treatment of their own choice to submit to only what the dictating outfit offers.” – Dr Benjamin Rush Signatory of the Declaration of Independence.

The following article by Judson Phillips was posted on on 02/20/2013:

Obamacare can be described in three words.  There are three simple words that tell you everything you need to know about the so-called “Affordable Care Act.”

It is not affordable, it is not care and it is a disaster.

But what are those three very accurate words that describe Obamacare?

Designed to fail.

Obamacare was designed to fail and we are seeing that failure right now.

Across America, people are screaming about their health insurance.  Those who pay for their own insurance are seeing sticker shock.  The cost of private health insurance policies are going through the roof.  Policies that were affordable only a few years ago, now cost as much as $3,000 a month.

A recent IRS publication listed the minimum acceptable Obamacare policy that companies had to provide their employees at $20,000 a year.  Many companies cannot afford that so they are taking the perfectly predictable action.  They are either cutting employees to part-time so they do not qualify, reducing the size of their company to get them under 50 fulltime employees or they are simply willing to pay the “tax” for not providing insurance.

The health insurance industry is collapsing.

This is not an accident.

Do you think this is an exaggeration?

Even the liberal Los Angeles Times is reporting on this issue:

Less than a year before Americans will be required to have insurance under President Obama‘s healthcare law, many of its backers are growing increasingly anxious that premiums could jump, driven up by the legislation itself.

Higher premiums could undermine a core promise of the Affordable Care Act: to make basic health protections available to all Americans for the first time. Major rate increases also threaten to cause a backlash just as the law is supposed to deliver many key benefits Obama promised when he signed it in 2010.

“The single biggest issue we face now is affordability,” said Jill Zorn, senior program officer at the Universal Health Care Foundation of Connecticut, a consumer advocacy group that championed the new law.

We will soon see the consequences of Obamacare.  We will soon hear the horror stories of people who have lost their health insurance because they cannot afford $2,000 a month for insurance, suffer a catastrophic disease or injury and lose everything they have.

Then the full purpose of Obamacare will be revealed.

Obamacare is designed to fail because the ultimate goal has never been to make sure everyone had health insurance.  The ultimate goal for liberals has always been the creation of a single payer system of health insurance.

In other words, what the left wants is to create a national socialist health care system like they have in the UK or Canada.

The healthcare systems in Canada and the UK have been disasters.  When you have the government running healthcare, you have massive inefficiencies, massive cost overruns and poor healthcare.

Obamacare is designed to fail so that when there are no private insurance companies left or at least none that can offer policies that the average American can afford, the left will declare the system to be broken and the only alternative is to create the single payer healthcare system.

Obamacare has never been about healthcare.  It has been about taking over 1/6 of the American economy and controlling people.

Socialism is always about control.  What greater control is there than the power over life and death?

When the government takes over healthcare, it changes the role of Americans and their government.

Our founding fathers made certain that our government was limited, those who served in government were public servants and the people were the masters of government.

Socialist healthcare changes that.   It changes Americans from masters of the government to slaves of the government.  The government decides what kind of medical care the people get and even if certain people are worth saving.

Obamacare is designed purposely to fail so that we will have the same type of failed socialist healthcare system that Canada and the UK have.

We need Obamacare repealed immediately.  Unfortunately for America, the Republicans in Washington are more interested in playing political games than they are in saving America.
