Minutemen

JFKNext time progressives tell you that they “support the Second Amendment,” but that our Founders didn’t have any concept of what kind of firearms would be available today because they only had muskets back then, politely recite the below quote.  Or if they equate the right to keep and bear arms only to hunting, agree but remind them that our Founders also had additional reasons.  Then politely recite the below quote.  Or if they tell you that the definition of a well regulated militia meant the government, politely recite the below quote.  But whatever you do, don’t tell them who you were quoting until they start arguing with you.  Then after awhile, politely reveal the source.

“Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life.” – John F. Kennedy
