Bill Whittle at Defending the American Dream RightOnline (Video)

Senator Ted Cruz lead off last Saturday’s closing session of Americans for Prosperity’s annual Defending the American Dream/Rightonline conference in Orlando.  Next up was Bill Whittle.  While Senator Cruz is always a tough act to follow, Whittle absolutely took control of the crowd and brought the house down.  For those not familiar with Bill, he’s blogger, political commentator, director, screenwriter, editor, pilot, and author.  Bill is both brilliant and genuinely funny.

Whittle’s message in a nutshell was that while conservatives have the right ideology, our message is stale and has been demonized by the left and the media.  While the tea party principles are fiscal responsibility, constitutionally limited government and free markets (Whittle refers to them as freedom, property rights and virtue), he says that we can’t convince and win over the youth by using these terms.  We therefore need a completely new way of framing our ideals if we want to bring new people aboard and win elections.

Here’s Bill’s complete presentation. It spans 21 minutes, but trust me, It’s not only a plan for success in taking back our Republic, it’s extremely entertaining and funny!  As someone who commented on this video said:  “The whole thing is fantastic and spot on but the last 3 minutes are Pure Win.”
