Question: What is the largest cave in the United States?
Answer: The Republican Establishment.
While there a relatively small number of true Conservative Republicans in the House (thankfully our own Congressman, Ted Yoho is one of them) and Senate, many are not. Many talk the talk, but when it comes to walking the walk, not so much. They are so concerned with their own reelection and power, that principles do not seem to matter. The voters gave them a mandate to do the right thing, but they just keep on keeping on with their Washington business-as-usual behavior. At least the Progressive Democrats are honest about where they stand; they want more government control of everything and everyone and they make no bones about it.
The links below illustrate this cave-in mentality. While many refer to very recent events, one can easily locate articles that go back years. Just Google the phrase Republican party caves or Republican cave. You’ll come up with more than you’ll care to read. Sad!
