Florida County Becomes ‘Second Amendment Sanctuary’ as Local Jurisdictions Continue to Push Back Against Leftist Gun Grabbing

(TNS) Another local jurisdiction — this one a county in Florida — has declared itself a “Second Amendment sanctuary” in the latest example of pushback against Democrat plans to confiscate firearms.

The action, taken last week by Lake County. made it the first Florida county to act, according to the Orlando Sentinel.

The resolution “declares Lake County as a Second Amendment Sanctuary in order to preserve for the People of, on, and in Lake County, their rights guaranteed by the Constitution of the United States of America.”

One county commissioner, Josh Blake, said the resolution is in direct response to gun-grabbing proposals made by practically ever 2020 Garbage Party presidential contender.

“This draws a line in the sand,” Blake said. “It doesn’t mince words. And I hope it sends a message to what can be described as the authoritarian control freaks.” Read the rest HERE.

Lake County, FL lies NW of Orlando. ALL counties in America need to be 2nd Amendment Sanctuary counties. On this vote, the Lake County commissioners deserve an A++.

  2. Michael says:

    Congratulations Lake County.
Wish more political leaders believed in the Constitution/Bill Of Rights.
