This week on her Fox News program, Justice With Judge Jeanine, the judge gave two opening monologues. Above is the video clip of her first open, and below is a partial transcript:
Hello and welcome to Justice. I’m Judge Jeanine Pirro. Thanks so much for being with us tonight and let’s get right to my open:
It’s time for the emotional bullying to stop. The bullies on the left want you to think you don’t value every life. Because you know it’s time to reopen the economy. There’s a guilt-laced political argument with no integrity whatsoever. Don’t tell me that if I want to go back to work and get off unemployment to care for my family and their future, that I don’t care about other people’s lives. That’s hogwash! Just stop the guilt bullying. Our patience is wearing thin.
Now lockdowns have a shelf life based on the medical necessity of who’s at risk. We’ve done everything you’ve told us: sheltered in place, closed our businesses, socially distanced, and scrubbed our hands, wore our masks and like children, we waited quietly and patiently for your okay to go outside and resume our lives.
Thirty six million of us are now unemployed, and who knows whether those jobs are gone for good? We suffer at home from depression, alcoholism, drug addiction, suicide, domestic violence, child abuse, the inability to get elective surgery while writhing in pain, hoping it’s not now too late for the surgery. If we missed our chemotherapy, has the cancer spread in the interim? Yes we have been good children.
We should do this until we flatten the curve, until we’re sure we can hospitalize everyone. But naval ships on our east and west coasts are mostly empty while they were here. They’re gone and yet ironically, New York City and Los Angeles are both still on lockdown. The curve was flattened, the hospitals are empty, and the goal post now is all about the vaccine. Power-hungry governors like Gretchen Whitmer in Michigan. And stay inside. Stay inside in all 83 counties, when only six counties have a problem. A pathetic tyrant who doubles down to punish those who dare to exercise their God-given fundamental constitutional civil liberties…
